How much does holiday lighting cost?
Every home is different, so every home is quoted individually. Our season minimum is $1,000, which covers design, professional bulbs, install, a timer, one service call, takedown, and storage. Terms run 2, 3, or 5 seasons at the same price per season. You'll have an exact number after a free site walk.
Do I buy the lights or lease them?
You lease them for the season. That's why there's nothing to store, nothing to repair, and nothing to replace when a strand fails. Choose a 2, 3, or 5 season term and your install date is reserved every year. You can change the design any time before install.
Can I do just one season?
Our shortest term is two seasons. Measuring, designing, and cutting cord to your roofline is most of the work, and a two-season term is what lets us hold the price per season where it is. If you need to end the agreement after the first season, 30 days' notice before your next install date is all it takes, with no fee.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Give us 30 days' notice before your next install date and the agreement ends. There's no cancellation fee. After your term, the agreement continues season to season until you tell us to stop, and we text you before any renewal charge.
When do you install and take down?
Installs run from October through December 10. Takedowns happen in January, weather permitting. If you book early, we can install in October and leave the lights off until the date you choose.
What if a bulb goes out?
Text or call us. We're back within 48 hours, weather permitting. One service call is included in every season, and anything that's our fault is fixed at no charge for as long as the lights are up.
Do you go on the roof?
We work from the ground and the gutter line wherever the roofline allows, and we carry general liability insurance for every install.
Is holiday lighting the same as Christmas light installation?
Yes. We call it holiday lighting because plenty of homes keep warm white up through January, but it's the same service: professional Christmas lights on your roofline, installed, serviced, taken down, and stored.
What areas do you serve?
The Chagrin Valley and Cleveland's east side, including Solon, Aurora, Bainbridge Township, Chagrin Falls, Concord Township, Highland Heights, Hudson, and Mayfield Village. See the full service area.
Can I pick my own colors?
Yes. Warm white, cool white, and the classic holiday colors are included. Custom color requests are available and priced in your quote.
Is there a discount for a longer term?
No. Pricing is the same per season no matter the term. Longer terms come with small perks and a guaranteed install date instead.
Will my price change in later seasons?
Your per-season price is set for the length of your term. If you add sections later, we quote the addition separately and show you the mockup first.
What happens after the first season?
Before each following season we text to confirm your date and any design changes, then charge the card on file. Nothing is charged without that text first.
What if the weather cancels my install?
We reschedule, usually within the week and always before December 10. There's no charge for a weather move, and your deposit stays on your date.
Do you light trees and bushes too?
Our standard scope is rooflines, gutters, garage gables, and porch columns. Ask during the site walk about wraps and accents; some we can do, some we'll be honest about.
Do I need to be home for the install?
No. We need access to the front of the house and one outdoor outlet. We'll text you before and after.
What is permanent lighting?
A slim track mounted under your roofline with individually controlled LEDs. It's nearly invisible in daylight and runs from an app, so you can set warm white for everyday, red and green for December, and any pattern in between. Our permanent installs begin in spring 2027; get on the list now and you're first on the calendar.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry general liability insurance for every install.
