How a Christmas Light Lease Works

We own the lights. You lease the season. Here's every step, in the order it happens.

The Site Walk and the Mockup

About 30 minutes at your house. We measure the roofline, talk through what you want lit, and send a mockup of your own home with the lights on, usually the same day, with a quote for the season.

The Term and the Price

Choose 2, 3, or 5 seasons. The per-season price steps down on the 3-season term and again on the 5-season term, because the measuring, design, and custom-cut cord happen once. Every season's price is written on page one of the agreement. The season minimum is $1,000.

Deposit, Install, Balance

A 50% deposit holds your install date. You get a two-hour window by text the night before, you don't need to be home, and the balance is due at install. That night you get a photo of the house lit.

Renewal and Ending It

Before each following season we text to confirm your date and any design changes, then charge the card on file. Nothing is charged without that text. Thirty days' notice before your next install date ends the agreement with no fee. After the term, it continues season to season until you say stop.

Related Questions

What if I want to change the design in year two?

Tell us before install. Additions are quoted separately and mocked up first; changes within the same scope are free.

What if I move?

We take the lights down and, if the new home is in our service area, transfer the agreement.
