Walden grew up around Club Walden, a William F. Mitchell golf course that opened in 1974, with the Walden Country Inn and its stables nearby. Much of the housing dates from the mid-1970s and is a mix of freestanding condominiums and single-family homes, set among mature trees and walking paths.

How We Light Homes in Walden
Walden's freestanding condos have shorter front eaves and a garage close to the entry, so we keep the bulb spacing tight and treat the roofline, garage, and front door as one outline. Several homes in a row sharing the same warm white reads especially well on a Walden street. On the single-family homes along the course we run the full gutter line and frame the garage gable, and we plan around the trees for what shows from the road.

Walden Association Rules
Walden of Aurora has an association that looks after the common grounds. Condo owners often need association sign-off for anything on the exterior, so we ask to see the guidelines at the site walk and fit the install and January takedown to them. The clips don't penetrate siding or trim.
What It Costs
$1,000 season minimum. Every home is quoted individually.
Terms run 2, 3, or 5 seasons. The per-season price steps down on the longer terms, and every season's price is written into the agreement. A 50% deposit holds your date; the balance is due at install.
Takedowns happen in January, weather permitting. If anything goes out during the season, text a photo, hear back the same day, and anything that's our fault is fixed within 48–72 hours, weather permitting, at no charge. Anything that's our fault is fixed at no charge for as long as the lights are up, within 48–72 hours, weather permitting.

Walden Questions
I own a freestanding condo in Walden. Can I still have lights installed?
