Lake in the Woods is a Kenston-district neighborhood of homes on big, wooded lots, most of them an acre and a half or more, around private lakes with a sandy beach. The association keeps up a pool, a playground, and a pavilion, and a summer swim team runs out of the pool.

How We Light Homes in Lake in the Woods
With a lot this deep, the house is often the only lit thing in view from the road, so we design for the approach up the drive as much as the street. We run the full front roofline and gutter, frame the garage gables, and light the entry so the house reads as one outline through the trees. We walk the lot at the site visit to see where the openings in the woods are before we lay out the runs.

Lake in the Woods Association Rules
Lake in the Woods has a homeowners association for the lakes, pool, and common areas. We found no published holiday décor rules, so we confirm yours at the site walk and schedule the January takedown to suit.
What It Costs
$1,000 season minimum. Every home is quoted individually.
Terms run 2, 3, or 5 seasons. The per-season price steps down on the longer terms, and every season's price is written into the agreement. A 50% deposit holds your date; the balance is due at install.
Takedowns happen in January, weather permitting. If anything goes out during the season, text a photo, hear back the same day, and anything that's our fault is fixed within 48–72 hours, weather permitting, at no charge. Anything that's our fault is fixed at no charge for as long as the lights are up, within 48–72 hours, weather permitting.

Lake in the Woods Questions
My house is hidden in the trees. Where do the lights go?
We look for the view you actually have, usually from the drive and the front walk, and design for that. You'll see it on the mockup first.
Can you light the side of the house that faces the lake?
Yes. It's quoted as its own elevation, so you can add it or leave it.
Is the drive too long for your crew to service?
No. A long drive changes the design, not the service. If a section goes out, text a photo and we come back to fix it.
